Gestern vor 2 Wochen kam dann der nächste Besuch aus Deutschland: meine Mutter und meine Schwester.
Diese haben für 10 Tage Urlaub hier in Malaysia gemacht und in dieser Zeit meine von der Firma bezahlte Wohnung als Unterkunft benutzt :P.
Donnerstags hieß es dann erst einmal, anstatt dem Mittagessen zum KLIA (Kuala Lumpur International Airport) zu fahren, um die beiden dort abzuholen.
Als Begrüßung habe ich meine Deutschland-Fahne dabei gehabt. Da wurde ich am Flughafen etwas schräg angesehen. Ein älterer Herr hat dann auch gefragt: “Arbeiten Sie für die deutsche Botschaft?” ;-).

The next visitors from Germany arrived 2 weeks ago: my mother and my sister.
The two of them got here for a 10 day vacation and used my apartment sponsored by HP as their accommodation :P.
On Thursday, I skipped lunch and went to KLIA (Kuala Lumpur International Airport) instead to pick the two up there.
As a welcome greeting, I took my German flag with me. Some people looked a bit weird. And one older guy asked me: “Are you working for the German embassy?” 😉
