Hier geht es nun los mit den Besuchern, die ich in den letzten beiden Wochen getroffen habe.
Mittwoch vor 2 Wochen war der Obmann der Schiedsrichtergruppe Stuttgart während seiner 3-wöchigen Malaysia-Rundreise auf Durchreise in Kuala Lumpur.
Er hat dann als Urlauber den Ort vorgeschlagen, an dem wir uns treffen wollen ;-), eine Bar im 34. Stock eines Hotels ganz in der Nähe des KL Towers.

Die erste Herausforderung war es dann mit dem Auto dort hin zu kommen. Für 98 % der Strecke brauchte ich 40 Minuten, für die restlichen 500 Meter dann nochmal soviel ;-). So dass ich dann am Ende auch ein paar Minuten zu spät dort ankam.
Der SR und seine Frau befanden sich dort schon im Hotel, jedoch auf einer anderen Seite des Dachs. Da er nur eine kurze Hose an hatte und das explizit als “nicht zulässig” gekennzeichnet war, hat er sich nicht reingetraut ;-).
Als ich dann ankam, sind sie auch mit rein und wir haben bei Pizza und kalten Getränken über Deutschland, Malaysia, Fußball und viele Themen gesprochen :-).
Und die Bar ist wirklich sehr schön. Man hat einen wundervollen Blick über Kuala Lumpur und kann einen tollen Sonnenuntergang erleben :-).
Nach netten Gesprächen ging es dann noch schnell nach China Town / Petaling Street, bevor es dann für die beiden in ihr Hotel und für mich zurück (bzw. noch kurz ins Büro :P) ging.

Here the first entry regarding the visitors I met here during the last two weeks.
Wednesday two weeks ago, I met the head of the referee group from Stuttgart in Kuala Lumpur. He stopped there for 2 nights during his 3 week trip through Malaysia.
He got a recommendation from a friend who was working here few years ago and so we met in a bar near KL Tower, Luna bear on 34th floor of a hotel there.

The first challenge for me was to get there by car. I needed 40 minutes for the first 98 % but for the last 500 meters I again took the same time ;-). So at the end, I arrived there around 15 minutes late.
The referee and his wife have already been in the hotel though at the other side of the rooftop. As he was only wearing shorts and a large sign said “no shorts allowed”, he was a bit hesitant to get in.
But he finally went in together with me and we had nice talks about Germany, Malaysia soccer and many other topics while eating some pizza and enjoying cold drinks :-).
And the bar was really a good hint. From up there, you’ve a wonderful view over Kuala Lumpur and you can see a really nice sunset :-).
After a long conversation, we did a small visit to China Town / Petaling Street until the two of them went back to there hotel and I also went back (or to be correct, dropped by the office for some time :P).
