Jetzt, abends um halb zehn sitze ich immer noch im Büro. Alle Kollegen des Kunden sind bereits seit gestern oder heute Nachmittag in den freien Tagen.
Daher sind wir jetzt dann auch in einem separaten Büro (Container) außerhalb des Fabrik-Geländes und mussten die Autos mehrfach umparken um einen erlaubten Platz zu finden ;-).
Heute steht dann noch eine etwas längere Schicht an, da aktuell noch Kopierprozesse laufen.
Danach wird dann die neue Version installiert, konfiguriert und danach migrieren wir dann die Daten aus dem Altsystem. Dafür werd ich dann morgen nochmal ins Büro kommen und auch von Bali aus den Status regelmößig prüfen.
Und nach den Feiertagen, wird die Software am 20. September live gehen und den Benutzern zur Verfügung stehen 🙂

It’s now 9 30 in the evening, and me and the HP team are still in the office. The employees of our customer are all already in their long holidays, either since yesterday or today afternoon.
Due to the holiday closure, we also needed to move our office to a container outside the plant and had to move the car a few times today to find an allowed spot ;-).
Now, still waiting for some copy operations to finish. After that, we install the new software, configure it and then start migrating the data from the old system.
For that, I’ll be getting to the office tomorrow for some time and also monitor the progress while being in Bali.
All that, to provide the new software to the users when they’re getting back from the long holidays on September 20th.
