Erste Attraktion am Sonntag vormittag war eine Island Hopping Tour.
Per Boot wurden in knapp 4 Stunden 3 Ziele angesteuert.
Zuerst ging es zu Dayang Bunting, de Insel der schwangeren Jungfrau.
Von fernem ähnelt die Kontur der Insel dann auch etwas einer schwangeren Frau.

Auf der Insel gibt es dann einen See.
Die Legende berichtet von einer Frau, die ein Kind gebärt und das dann kurz nach der Geburt verstirbt.
Anschließend begräbt sie das Kind im See.
Der Legende nach sollen kinderlose Leute, die in dem See baden, Nachwuchs bekommen :P.
Zumindest war das Bad bei dem heißen Wetter eine gute Abkühlung ;-).

Von der Anlegestelle zum See sind es jedoch knapp 10 Minuten zu Fuß.
Am Wegesrand sind viele Affen zu finden.
Einer hat dann aus der Seitentasche des Rucksacks eine Flasche Orangensaft gestohlen ;-), war danach dann aber nicht in der Lage, diese zu öffnen :P.

Nach einem längeren Aufenthalt ging es zu einer weiteren Insel, vor welcher dann einige der vielzähligen Adler mit Hühnchenhaut gefüttert wurden.
Abschließend ging es auf eine kleinere Insel mit Sandstrand, bevor es dann wieder zurück zur Hauptinsel ging.

First activity on Sunday morning was an Island Hopping tour.
This included the visit of 3 spots by boat in around 4 hours.
First destination was Dayang Bunting, the island of the pregnant maiden.
From some distance, the shape of the island may look like a pregnant woman.

On the island, there’s a lake.
The legend is telling about a wife giving birth to a kid which days soon after that.
She’s burying the kid in the lake.
According to the legend, people without kids bathing in the see, will soon get kids :P.
The swimming there was at least some refreshment with the hot weather ;-).
 
But before getting there, it was around 10 minutes walk from the place the boat stopped.
And there’ve been many monkeys besides the route.
And one of them snatched a bottle of orange juice from the side pocket of the backpack ;-), but was then too stupid to open it 😛
 
After stopping for a while, the next stop was near another island. There, the guide fed some eagles with chicken skin.
Last stop was a small island with a small sand beach before the boat drove back to the main island.
