Nach dem Besuch von bereits 3 malaysischen Hochzeiten, ging es nun auf eine Hochzeit eines indischen Paares.
Hier ist man dann zur Vermählungszeremonie mit anschließendem Essen eingeladen.
Das Ganze fand in der Turnhalle einer Schule statt und mehrere hundert Leute nahmen an der Hochzeit teil.

Auf der Bühne waren dann ein indischer Priester sowie ein paar Musiker.
Zuerst wurde der Bräutigam von dem Priester geweiht, gefolgt von der Braut.
Anschließend kamen dann beide gemeinsam und die eigentliche Vermählung wurde vollzogen.
Eine nette Zeremonie, die den Austausch von Blumenketten sowie das mehrfachen Umkreisen des Feuers umfasst.
Nach dem Ende, sprangen alle Leute auf und es bildete sich eine lange Schlange am Buffet ;-).

After visiting already 3 Malay weddings, this time we went to an Indian wedding in Klang, around 20 kilometers from here.
For Indian weddings, the guests are invited to the marriage ceremony as well as a following dinner.
The event took place in a large hall of a school and some hundred people attended the wedding.

A priest and some musicians have been sitting on the stage in the hall.
First, the groom went on the stage and got the blessings from the priest. After that, he went down and the bride climbed up as well.
Afterwards, both of them went up together for completing the actual marriage.
A nice ceremony containing the exchange of flower strings and walking several rounds around the fire.
After the end of the ceremony, all people jumped up suddenly and formed a long queue at the buffet ;-).
