Am Sonntag Vormittag hieß es dann früh aufstehen. Wir haben uns hier nach dem Frühstück erneut mit Hatman’s Schwester, seinem Neffen und diese Mal auch seinem Schwager getroffen.
Hier ging es dann nach Sungai Lembing, einer kleinen Stadt knapp 50 Kilometer von Kuantan entfernt.
Dort wurde ab 1890 Zinn gefördert. Die dortige Mine gehört zu den größten Zinnminen der Welt.
Mit dem Verfall des Zinnpreises wurde die Mine im Jahre 1986 geschlossen.
Vor einigen Jahren wurde dort dann ein Museum geöffnet, das die Geschichte der Mine erzählt.
Dieses Museum haben wir dann für eine Weile angeschaut und es ist wirklich interessant :-).

Nach dem Besuch des Museum ging es dann zu einem Wasserfall in der Nähe.
Dort haben wir dann ein knapp 90 Minuten langes Bad genommen :-).

Sunday morning, we need to get up early. Shortly after breakfast, we met again with Hatman’s sister, her son and this time also her husband.
From Kuantan, we drove around 50 kilometers to get to the small town Sungai Lembing.
Since 1890, people produced tin. The mine was one of the largest and deepest tin mines in the world.
But with the decline of the tin price, the mine got closed down in the year 1986.
Few years ago, they opened a museum showing the history of the mine.
We visited this museum for a while and the things they’re showing is quite interesting :-).

After visiting the museum, we went to a waterfall nearby.
There, we enjoyed a nice bathing of around 90 minutes :-).
