Am Freitag Abend ging es nach Neckarsulm zum diesjährigen Audi RockPop Festival. Als erste Band trat Olli Roth auf, die aus der Region Heilbronn kommt und den Auftritt gewonnen hatte.
Danach kam die Band Livingston. Diese ist unter anderem durch den Song “Go” bekannt, der im vergangenen Jahr das Titellied für die Olympiaübertragungen des ZDF war.
Als Hauptakt des Abends trat dann die schwedische Band Roxette auf. Hier war dann bei dem altersmäßig sehr durchmischten Publikum eine Superstimmung und die Band spielte sehr viele Hits aus ihrer gesamten Karriere. Dabei waren alte Hits wie “The Look”, “Listen to your Heart”, “It Must Have Been Love”, “Sleeping in my car” als auch ihr aktueller Song “She’s Got Nothing On (But the Radio)”. Es war ein sehr tolles Konzert, auch wenn der Auftritt von Roxette mit knapp 75 Minuten dann doch etwas hätten länger sein können.

Last Friday, I went to the Audi RockPop Festival of this year which took place on a parking lot in front of the Audi factory. First act was a local band called Olli Roth followed by Livingston.
The main act of the evening was the Swedish duo Roxette. The atmosphere there was great and Roxette played many old as well as new songs. Some of the songs: “The Look”, “Listen to your Heart”, “It Must Have Been Love”, “Sleeping in my car” or the current song “She’s Got Nothing On (But the Radio)”.
It was really a nice concert though the performance of Roxette could have been a bit longer than the 75 minutes ;-).
