Aktuell bin ich im Büro in ein Archivierungsprojekt für einen großes deutsches, weltweit operierendes Logistikunternehmen involviert. Aktuell sind wir dabei die Daten der letzten Monate für 3 europäische Länder ins System zu laden.
Dazu hier einfach mal 2 Bilder:

• Das erste zeigt einen Meeting-Raum, in dem wir aktuell die meiste Zeit sitzen. Dieser wurde von uns in eine Art “Kontrollraum” umgewidmet und der Beamer zeigt uns aktuell immer eine ganze Menge verschiedener Statusinformationen an.
• Das 2. zeigt die aktuelle Auslastung eines unserer Datenbanksystem. Trotz insgesamt 16 Recheneinheiten (4 Quad-Core CPUs) läuft das System zu dieser Zeit unter Volllast ;-).

English – in the office
Currently, I’m involved in an archiving project for a large German logistics company (operating worldwide). At the moment, we’re loading some data of the last few months for 3 European countries into our systems. For that here just 2 pictures:

• The first is showing a meeting room in our HP office. We just converted it into a “control room” ;-). On the wall we see a lot of information regarding the current system status.
• Picture 2 shows the resource usage of one of the database systems. Though having 16 processing units the system is fully occupied processing our jobs ;-).
